About our rooms
At Danhostel Horsens, we offer accommodation near Horsens city center.
Rooms come with private bathrooms, toilets, comfortable box mattresses, and space to sit around a table and relax.
All rooms, except for six-person rooms, have a TV. All rooms have access to a fully equipped, communal guest kitchen.
Our rooms are rented as private rooms, offering accommodations for individuals and up to six-person rooms.
Single/Double room
2 single beds
Private room with 2 separate box mattresses, private bath and toilet and TV. The room is equipped with a table, chairs, armchair and wardrobe for clothes and suitcase. The room is available either on the view side, with a view of Nørrestrand Nature Reserve or with a terrace where in the spring and summer period there are terrace chairs and a table by each room. All rooms have the option of using a fully equipped guest kitchen, with the option of cooking your own food.
Triple room
2 single beds - 1 bunk
Private room with 2 separate box mattresses and 1 folding bunk. The room has its own bath and toilet. In addition, you will also find a TV, table, chairs and a cupboard for clothes and a suitcase in the room. The room has access to the terrace, where in the spring and summer period there will be a terrace table and chairs. All rooms have the option of using a fully equipped guest kitchen, with the option of cooking your own food.
4-person rooms
2 single beds - 2 bunks
Private room with 2 separate box mattresses and 2 folding bunks. The rooms have their own bath and toilet. In addition, you will also find a TV, table, chairs and a cupboard for clothes and a suitcase in the room. All the rooms have access to the terrace, where in the spring and summer period there will be a terrace table and chairs. All rooms have the option of using a fully equipped guest kitchen, with the option of cooking your own food.
6-person room
3 single beds - 3 bunks
Private room with 3 lower bunks, 3 collapsible upper bunks, as well as a private bath and toilet. The room is available either with a view of Nørrestrand Nature Reserve or with a terrace where, in spring and summer, there are terrace chairs and a table by each room. The room is equipped with a table, chairs, as well as a wardrobe for clothes and a suitcase. The room is furnished without a TV. All rooms have the option of using a fully equipped guest kitchen, with the option of cooking your own food.
Worth knowing about accommodation in hostels
Each person has their own ideas about what it means to go to a hostel. Some have experiences from their early youth about shared rooms, smelly socks and cupboards you had to lock to look after your things.
There has been a huge development from the hostel's early beginnings to now.
Here at Danhostel Horsens, we rent out all our rooms as private rooms, we lay out linen packages in the rooms, so that guests can make their own beds and then, like most hostels, we are located in a truly scenic setting with a nature reserve in the backyard.
For many, staying in a hostel is a social way to spend a holiday, there is both the opportunity for peace and contemplation in the room as well as meeting people in the various common areas on site.
Our mission is to create the framework for all those who choose to visit us, so that they have the opportunity to enjoy their stay here at Danhostel Horsens.
Breakfast
We offer breakfast every weekend, Saturdays and Sundays. The breakfast must be purchased at the latest the day before.
Our breakfast buffet costs DDK 115.00 for adults and DDK 40 for children 2-11. Breakfast is served from 08.00 to 09.00.
In our low season from October to Easter, we do not offer the purchase of breakfast unless there is a lot of activity in the house
Linen
As something new, we include bed linen with the room. It is therefore important to indicate the correct number of guests who will be using the room, as we have linen ready for you.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is from 15.00 until 17.00 - upon arrival later, please contact reception.
Check-out of the room must take place before 10.00 on the day of departure
Pets are not allowed
Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring your pet to Danhostel Horsens. But we know that there are many other Danhostels that offer it, so visit Danhostel.dk.

Guest kitchen
Our fully equipped guest kitchen is reserved for families and single travelers. Here it is possible to prepare meals, eat your home-cooked food or enjoy a cup of coffee.
Food may not be brought into the rooms.
